Children 3 years old (by September 1st) – 4th grade
SPARK is essentially Sunday School, but it doesn’t meet just on Sundays anymore.
Families can choose to enroll in SUNDAY SPARK or WEDNESDAY SPARK – they are alike in content.
Sunday mornings either at 8:30 or 10:00 am – or, Wednesday afternoons at 5:00 pm.
Many volunteers are critical to the success of the SPARK program

SPARK Rotation Teacher Sign-up
PreK – Kindergarten classes
Meet in the same classroom with the same teacher(s) each week. The curriculum is planned so that the lesson is presented in three ways during the three week unit – but the lessons rotate from classroom to classroom – the children always return to the familiar room and teachers.
SPARK (grades 1-4)
The children are divided into groups. Each group rotates throughout the three weeks – one week in the Drama room, one week in the Art room and one week in the Kitchen for Cooking. A shepherd becomes a part of the group as the leader and rotates with the children who meet a different teacher in each of the classrooms.
Sunday SPARK always begins in the sanctuary with children worshiping with their parents for the first part of the service. They leave together and have some “children’s church” in the Community room prior to leaving for classrooms. Wednesday SPARK meets from 5:00 until 6:00 pm. They being in large group for some “children’s church” and then go to classrooms to dig in for learning. Wednesday Prime Time worship begins at 6:07 pm.

3rd Graders to receive the Connect Bible (New Revised Standard Version)
More dates to come!
Presenting Bibles to children as Preschoolers and again as third graders is something that Faith Lutheran Congregation does in partnership with parents in fulfilling the promises we make together at baptism.
That promise . . . “to place in their hands the holy scriptures”. As children grow in their ability to read and to understand and appreciate the Bible we present new age appropriate Bibles.
