Thursday Men’s Bible Study
Do you ever wonder what’s going on in the lessons you hear Sunday mornings? Would you like to make your Sundays more meaningful by reflecting on Sunday’s Bible lesson ahead of time? We offer a great men’s text study on Thursday mornings from 8:00-9:00 am led by either Pastor Dale or Pastor Christine. We reflect on the texts being preached on the following Sunday.
Drop-ins and new participants are welcome at any time!

Sunday Night Dad’s PM DVD/Book Study:

“Christian: It’s Not What You Think” by Andy Stanley

Age Range: Adult Men/Dads

Dates/Time: Sunday Nights at 7:00 pm
Beginning October 1st
Purpose:  To help men make connections with one another and grow in their faith through this great 8-week DVD curriculum.  No prep!  Just show up as you are able!

DVD Description:

In this eight-session video-based bible study, Andy Stanley looks at which characteristics Jesus used to define those who follow him and the implications they have for believers today.  We’ll talk about:

  • What one word should be
    descriptive of every Christian
  • How Jesus’ followers should treat those who are outside the faith
  • Why people love Jesus, but can’t stand his followers

This great DVD series provokes great discussions, even for those who are new or disconnected from faith. Come join this group of dads as we explore what it might mean to be Christian in today’s context.
