YOUTH MISSION TRIPS

The Quad City Youthworks Mission Trip
June 14 – June 19, 2020
The Quad City Youthworks Mission Trip is for all students who have completed 6th-8th grade.
Total cost is $500 if you register before January 31 or $550 if you register after that date.
$100 deposit required by January 31.

“Your group will have the opportunity to serve in various parts of the Quad Cities, partnering with organizations that deeply care about their community. Service opportunities include assisting with local youth programming, engaging with adults who have disabilities, and meeting basic needs through food pantries, community gardens, and clothing giveaways. Learn about the strengths and struggles of this area by hearing from a community speaker and participating in a prayer walk. Your group will also have the chance to relax at a local waterpark and share a meal with community friends at a cookout.”
St. Louis Youthworks Mission Trip
July 26 – July 31, 2020
The St. Louis Youthworks Mission Trip is for all students who have completed 8th-12th grade. We are giving current 8th grade students the option to go on either (or both!) trips because we know marching band can be busy in June.  Total cost is $500 if you register before Jan. 31 or $550 if you register after that date.
$100 deposit required by January 31.

“Your group will serve St. Louis in a variety of ways, often crossing racial and geographic lines. YouthWorks partners with a number of organizations to come alongside St. Louis’s homeless population, local children, and the elderly. You may find yourselves playing bingo, cooking meals, painting houses, shooting hoops, sorting clothes or spending time with community residents. In the evenings, you’ll host a well-attended community cookout. You’ll also engage in discussions around race and poverty from a Christian mindset.”
