In the spirit of the Apostle Paul’s call to “pray without ceasing” (1Thessalonians 5:17) you are invited to participate in a 12-hour Prayer Vigil on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 8 am to 8 pm at Faith Lutheran. You can pray in the Faith sanctuary or wherever you are. Throughout the day prayers will be made for every Faith family by name, our pastoral transition & call process, the church staff & council, for worship services, for our congregation’s volunteers & programs, and for our community & world, and whatever prayer requests have been submitted. You can also pray whatever the Holy Spirit places upon your heart.

Suggestions for prayers and Faith family names will be provided. If all time slots were to fill up, more than one participant can be assigned to a time slot.

 

Prayer requests can be submitted for the Prayer Vigil by completing the handout in the bulletin and placing them in the offering plate or dropping them off in the box at the Welcome Desk. You may also email your request to Kristin Johnson at kristinjohnson76@gmail.com.
