Proclaiming the promises of God in Jesus Christ is an amazing gig. I especially enjoy preaching, deep conversations around the Bible, open forums where questions emerge, and inviting people to discover the ways in which they’re ministers. I also really thrive when I’m working within communities to discover connections and identify opportunities. I love being a pastor. I’m elated to serve as the Senior Pastor of Faith Lutheran.

 

A Minnesota transplant, I’m originally from Nebraska. I have degrees from Hastings College, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and Luther Seminary. And, I served as a pastor and taught on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for over a decade. I also occasionally teach as an Adjunct Instructor at Luther Seminary.

 

My spouse is Amanda. She’s amazing. And I have two daughters, Sophia and Olivia. They’re amazing, too. We also live with a couple of dogs: Martin Luther and Nicholas Buttersnaps.

 

I like to read and write. I’ve been roped into doing endurance sports a couple of times, and I play several rock instruments at an average level of competency. As a far as hobbies go, I’m open to just about anything if someone invites me.
