MUSIC BY THE LAKE Begins Its Third Season

Three outstanding musical ensembles are scheduled to perform in the sanctuary of
Faith Lutheran Church during the coming season. We have once again engaged performers of the
highest artistry and we are extremely excited about their appearances here.

The Schubert Trio.
Featuring Daniel Rieppsl on piano, Helen Chang on violin, and Thomas Rosenberg on cello.

The series begins on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at 7:30 pm with the Schubert Trio,
an exciting new instrumental ensemble that combines dynamic technical proficiency
with a profound love for classical music performing works by Bach, Schubert and others.
Three extremely accomplished individuals combine their considerable talents to
produce music of the highest caliber, right here in our sanctuary.
Adults $18, Students $8.


On Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at 7:30 pm we are honored to host
The Singers – Minnesota Choral Artists under the direction of Mathew Culloton.
This is one of the finest choral ensembles to be heard anywhere,
presenting Under the North Star: A Choral Birthday Celebration to commemorate
the 150th anniversary of Minnesota’s statehood. Sixty voices performing works
composed or arranged by Minnesotans over the past century and a half.
This is choral music at the highest level of artistry and it’s right here in Waconia.

And finally, on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 7:30 pm Cantus returns by popular demand.
This 9-member male vocal ensemble returns with its wide-ranging stylistic fluency,
pinpoint musicianship and lighthearted charm to present an exciting and varied
program that is sure to please.
