Tuesday Bible Study

On September 11 the Tuesday Bible Study will begin a new study. We are starting at the beginning with Genesis.  God is where Genesis begins. We will see God creating the world and then see how sin entered the world. Even with sin entering the world we can be encouraged as we read Genesis. No matter how dark things seem, we will constantly be reminded of God’s plan. God has a plan and with that plan there is hope. Plan to join us when discover that hope as we read and study this incredible book.

We meet each Tuesday at 9:15 am at Westview Acres and at 7:00 pm at Faith, both are in their fireside room. Come check us out. No previous study is required. Everyone is welcome. Again, September 11 is our starting date and we meet each Tuesday after that. Attend the class that works best for your schedule

Everyone is welcome. For more information contact Mary Westlund @  HERE

Monthly Leadership Huddle:

Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Unchartered Territoryby Tod Bolsinger
Age Range: Mixed Adults Days/Time: 3rd Sunday of the Month from 11:15-12:30 in the Fireside Room
Duration:  Monthly beginning October 21st for 7 months.
Cost:    $17 for hardcover book, “Canoeing the Mountains” by Tod Bolsinger (Available for Purchase at Welcome Center)

Do you lead a small group, team, or project in your workplace or here at church?  Join us for a monthly leadership huddle as we seek to improve our leadership skills and provide support and guidance for challenges we may face as leaders in our workplace or here at church.  This fall, we will read the 14th Annual Outreach Magazine’s “Resource of the Year” choice for Leadership, Canoeing the Mountains.

Bolsinger argues that explorers, Lewis and Clark, had to adapt. While they had prepared to find a waterway to the Pacific Ocean, instead they found themselves in the Rocky Mountains. You too may feel that you are leading in a cultural context you were not expecting. You may even feel that your training holds you back more often than it carries you along. Drawing from his extensive experience as a pastor and consultant, Bolsinger brings decades of expertise in guiding churches and organizations through uncharted territory. He offers a combination of illuminating insights and practical tools to help you reimagine what effective leadership looks like in our rapidly changing world.

Come join Pastor Christine and other leaders here at Faith as we develop the courage and vision to lead in our workplaces and communities.
