Ministry to preteens must be relational — that is why small groups are a must. They need a consistent, safe,
intimate and focused environment. Small group relationships allow them to be heard and valued.
Small group leaders serve as facilitators, rather than teachers.

Captivate their attention and dig into real-life issues.

Encourage faith practices with weekly challenges that dare preteens to apply what they’ve learned in simple,
yet effective ways.
