BAPTISM CLASS OFFERED
Considering baptism?
On Wednesday, June 18, at 6:30pm a class will be held focusing
on the rite of Holy Baptism and how it is lived out in one’s
life. Childcare can be provided if requested when registering
with the church office 952-442-2101.

Semi Annual Meeting of the
Congregation
On Sunday June 1st following worship we will hold a congregational
meeting. The main agenda items for this meeting are to vote
in new church council members and to hear the Long Range Planning
Committee’s report to the church council. This is also
the morning that we will honor our graduating high school
seniors. The meeting will be called to order at the end of
the 9:30 service, we will then take have a recess to greet
and congratulate our graduates and then return to the sanctuary
for our
meeting. The Church Council invites your presence and participation.

A
short devotional service is planned for Memorial Day
morning, Monday May 26 at Faith Rutz Lake
Cemetery. (Watch the weekly bulletin for the exact time to be
announced.) A colorguard including Waconia VFW & American
Legion members will participate as we pay tribute to those who
gave their lives for our country.

Summer
worship begins
On
Sunday May 25th (Memorial weekend) we will begin our summer
worship schedule. We will have one Sunday service at 9:30
AM until Labor Day weekend. If you are unable to be in church
on
Sunday mornings during the summer remember we have a weekly
Thursday night service at 7:00 PM.

Bar Concert
Please join the Cherub Choir for
their annual Dilly Bar Concert
on Tuesday, May 6th at
5:20pm in the Sanctuary.
Hear the Cherubs sing some of their favorite songs from this
year. If you have a child going into Kindergarten, 1st or
2nd grade this fall and are considering choir here is an excellent
opportunity to see what Cherub Choir is all about. If you
just enjoy hearing these little ones sing, join us and have
a Dilly Bar with us.
