Music at Faith Lutheran

Children learn basic singing skill through Christian songs they love. Rehearsals begin on Tuesdays in September 5:30-6:00 p.m. Children sing in worship once a month.

Faith Choir
High School-Adult

Faith Choir will sing both traditional and contemporary choral works and will also prepare some pieces with guest soloists. Rehearsals 7:45 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday;s, beginning September. Faith Choir will sing in worship about three times a month, as well as Christmas and Easter.

Faithful Ringers (Hand bell Choir)

Basic hymn arrangements, with the goal of more advanced pieces. Rehearsals from 6:30-7:40 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning September. Hand bell choir participates in worship service once a month and at special times throughout the year.

Introducing Our Music Staff

Mr. Aaron R. Olson
Director Faith Choir

Aaron R. Olson is serving as the interim director of the Faith Choir. He received his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and his Masters degree from the University of Minnesota. Previous to moving to Waconia, Aaron directed the Pilgrim Lutheran Church adult choir in Superior Wisconsin for six years. Aaron is also currently the director of choral activities at Waconia High School where he directs three curricular choir and teaches music theory and history in addition to directing Power Company, Waconia High School’s High voltage show Choir. Aaron, his wife Liz and their two children Emma and Ethan have been members at Faith since 1998.
